Making lasting positive change in our communities takes a lot of work. That’s why we’re introducing Outdoorsy Getaways. To help those who are giving their all to give back, we’re donating a free RV road trip each and every month. At Outdoorsy, we firmly believe that being outdoors is a form of self-care. According to Harvard, recent studies in the growing field of ecotherapy have shown a strong connection between time spent in nature and reduced stress, anxiety, and depression. We want to make sure the most giving people we know have an opportunity to enjoy some rest and relaxation.
Outdoorsy Getaways
We’re launching Outdoorsy Getaways to gift free road trips to changemakers throughout North America. Whether they’re a volunteer in a soup kitchen, a social activist, a pro bono worker, or someone going above and beyond the call of duty, we want to recognize the good they’re doing and reward their effort toward long-lasting positive change. This work is meaningful but exhausting, and we want to give these community heroes time to rest and recuperate. These retreats reflect Outdoorsy’s mission to make memorable outdoor experiences accessible to all travelers wanting to reconnect with nature.
How does the program work?
We’ll select a nominee and gift them a free trip every month.
Each month, we’ll select a nominee to receive a 3-night free trip from Outdoorsy. Both nominator and nominee will be notified by email if they are selected. You can submit your nomination via this form.
We’ll share the winner’s story on social media.
We’ll announce the name of the selected nominee and share some of the nominator’s words about their impact on Outdoorsy’s social media channels.

Who can be nominated?
Anyone making a difference in your community can be nominated. Activists, teachers, founders, healthcare providers — if they spend their time and energy helping others, we want to hear about them.
Can I nominate more than one person?
Yes! We’d love to hear about any and all people making positive changes in their communities.
How will nominees find out if they won?
We will notify winners and nominators by email if they are selected.
Do winners have to use their free road trip by a specific date?
We understand that times are unpredictable, especially now, so there are currently no limitations on specific dates.
How long will this program be running?
There is currently no end date. We want to keep giving to those who are always giving.
Is RV travel safe during COVID-19?
Yes! We have implemented increased cleaning standards for our Owners in line with CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting their RVs. Check out our safe travel tips for more information.
