5About Get Rolling RV Rentals LLC
We are a family of 4 and we have absolutely enjoyed camping since we started in January of 2018. Our trips have taken us from the white sandy beaches of Florida to the breath-taking views of the Smoky Mountains and everywhere in between! Camping always brings families together and you will meet some of the nicest, most helpful people and families at campgrounds. We started this adventure in late 2020 as a way for others to experience the same kind of memories that we have made. Meeting some of the most wonderful people along our journey has made this an amazing experience. We take pride in what we do, and we strive to ensure that everyone who rents from us truly enjoys their trip. We are passionate about our motto, “Helping Deliver Tons of Memories” and we love hearing about the priceless memories made! Here are a few tips to know about camping, if you have never camped before: *Book your campground as soon as you find your date available. Campgrounds can book 6 months to a year in advance, especially during peak holiday times. *Campers usually book about 1-2 months in advance, but just like campgrounds they can book up during peak holidays far in advance *Make sure that the campsite can fit any camper you plan to rent. For example, our largest camper is 28ft of livable space, but is almost 34ft overall. Some campsites will not allow the use of a slide or the campground will need to know which side the slide is on to make sure the space is sufficient. *Campers are either 30amp or 50amp. If a camper is 50amp, it can be used on a site that may only have a 30amp outlet, but it might not be able to run both AC units or be limited to certain things like not being able to use the microwave and a blow dryer at the same time. Also, a 30amp camper can run on a 50amp campsite. *A lot of state park campgrounds and some other campgrounds to not have "full hook ups," which means that it does not have sewer at the site and only has water & power at the site. *All campers are built with different size grey and black tanks, (grey = sinks/bathtubs; black = toilets) which are usually around the 30 gallon range or larger. However, these tanks fill up more quickly than you would think. It is always best to have a site with sewer, but it is possible to use the campground facilities (restrooms) to make sure that the tanks do not fill up too quickly. Some campgrounds offer a tank service where they will drain the tank for you at your campsite if no sewer is available.
