First, the pictures on the site are not a true representation of the state of the RV. It looks much older and worn out. But that was not a big deal for us.Second, the generator/AC/fridge did not work well for us. That was a much bigger deal as were headed toward heat wave land. This started happening around day 9 of our 14 day trip. The generator would start but then after a short while of driving it would turn off and we had no AC. The fridge is connected to the generator but also has a gas switch. We tried the gas switch; we also tried the auto switch and it did not work. We had some coolness but it was not enough to keep the food from going bad and beginning to stink. We made the best of it, however, as we were on our first RV trip ever. What follows is truly terrible. I contacted Nadine during the trip to tell her about our problems with the generator and, despite a number of attempts to get in touch with her, she did not reply. The water hose disconnected from the RV at one of our campsites because the water pressure was higher than the water hose could deal with. This is apparently a thing: different campsites have different water pressures. The way to deal with this is to have a water regulator, as we learnt. We purchased another water hose and we were able to get by by borrowing a regulator from a campsite. We thought about buying one--at least the next renter would not have to deal with that potential problem--but I am glad I did not because upon return Nadine did not want to refund us for the water hose. At last, after many explanations, she agreed to pay, but boy, it took a while to get her to see the problem. She kept pointing out that according to Outdoorsy the renter has to pay for everything that goes wrong... Around the third day of our trip one of the hub caps just dropped, we lost it. We did not do anything weird; we just drove. Nadine said we would not have to pay for it, but that she had just had it replaced before we left.Ok, I am getting to the end now. When we returned we had added extra miles and we paid what we had to pay via PayPal (I have learned now that you are not supposed to do that). I explained to Nadine again our problems with the air conditioning and the fridge and she just brushed it off because it was working while the RV was sitting in front of her house. With reluctance, Nadine agreed to drive it a little since we had had the problem while driving. We did and the AC was working. Nadine seemed suspicious of my claims and I told her that at least she should look at the problem so that the next renter would not have the same issue. She said she would just rent it again and see... While in the car she told me that the AC does not work as it is supposed to. She said that if it was 105 outside the AC would only cool it to about 89 degrees. I certainly wish I had known that. She offered to pay $50 for the issues we had experienced by I refused because I really did not think it was adequate, but I told her I would just pay her the money she was asking and be done.I paid via Paypal and she made some mistake and the money was refunded to my account. She send me texts immediately but I was not looking at my phone and I was ready to come home and have water and rest from the exhausting trip. Because I did not get back to her quickly enough, she filed a false claim and got hold of my deposit. She claimed that I had not paid her the extra miles; she now added the hub cap AND she made up a claim about some stains in the sink saying that she might need to replace the whole sink. It was absolutely false. The next day I got up and saw all this and contacted her immediately asking about what happened and that I was going to pay her again, of course. She told me not to worry, but she had just filed that (false) claim until things were figured out. As of now, she still has my security deposit and I am struggling to get her to release it.I have talked to Outdoorsy and discovered that she actually charged me money outside the platform and that that was not quite legal. What had happened was that after many months of having made my reservation and paying for the RV in full, she contacted me saying that she had forgotten to include money in the total account for cleaning. I was upset about the surprise but agreed to pay her cash during the pick up. I also paid her to leave my car outside of her house. Well, Outdoorsy does not allow that and I should have known that but I did not think about it. But she knew. And what I find most disturbing is that she kept treating me like I am a liar, making up stories about lack of AC, etc, and then about whether I had done something with PayPal because the money had been returned (not possible with PayPal, as far as I know). And then, she filed false claims and goes back on her word and refuses to pay me for the water hose.... Beware.
