About Go Explore It
In our 9th year, we are one of the longest running Overland Vehicle and 4x4 Camper rental companies in the country. We have a large variety of vehicles from a 4Runner, Tacoma with rooftop tents. GEI also provides everything you will need for camping in the backcountry all the way down to the sunscreen, Bug repellent, and Bear spray! We also provide suggestions for camping with apps, maps and books for activities while you are on your trip. For a small fee, we will even plan your entire trip for you with a programmed route in one of our GPS units. Our goal is provide a stress free and memorable experience while you are in our vehicles.

My wife and I rented this rig for a few days and had an absolute blast! Our hosts were great with communication leading up to renting their Tacoma and answered all our questions and were flexible with the pickup and drop off times. When we picked it up, they showed us around and made sure we were comfortable with the setup.
The setup itself was great! Everything was well thought out and they had pretty much everything supplied in the kitchen setup you'd need including spices. The truck drives great on and off highway, very comfortable and clean inside and out and had no mechanical issues. I felt even more comfortable knowing there was a full size spare, recovery tracks and an ARB compressor onboard just in case. The roof top tent was probably one of the easier setups I've used and was insulated, keeping us dry and warm with 40 deg nights in the rain.
We highly recommend renting this rig, but the whole inventory from Go Explore It looks great!

One of the best things experiences I’ve had with a rental company. The truck was perfect, well thought out, and the customer service from Gaylord was top notch! They literally thought to include everything! My son and I did the White Rim Road Trail in Moab and camped 4 nights in the Tacoma and it was perfect! I will definitely be renting from Go Explore It again in the near future!

Absolutely everything we needed for the trip was included with the rental, we only needed to buy food for the length of the trip. The car was very clean, very well maintained, and Gaylord was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided great recommendations for places to visit and trails to explore. I highly recommend it!!

This was an such an epic adventure! My wife and I grabbed a ride directly off the plane and went straight to the shop to pick up the 4 Runner. Gaylord had the vehicle locked and loaded ready for adventure. The truck was super clean and loaded with everything as ordered. We would have been able to hop right in and go. However, we sat with Gaylord for about an hour getting the lay of the land and discussing our trip. He suggested many different places and things to see. He was always just a text away with any information that we needed. I would 10/10 recommend Go Explore It to anyone! We will be returning same time next year!

Such a great, comfortable vehicle! The battery operated cooler made keeping perishables cold a breeze and the rooftop tent was very spacious, cozy and easy to operate. Can’t say enough great things about this easy to drive, all inclusive RV!

I rarely take the time and effort to write reviews, but when someone goes above and beyond, I feel I need to make the effort, and this is one of those situations. Gaylord and Gemma were fantastic at every stage, from my initial inquiry through dropoff. They patiently answered all my questions and made many constructive suggestions based on my plans. This was so much more than a vehicle rental -- logistics, personalized itinerary suggestions, practical guidance and more. I was also surprised and extremely comforted that the vehicle included a sat phone pre-programmed with all of Gaylord's contact info in case of problems. Fortunately, I didn't need to use it, but the knowledge that I would have support in a worst-case scenario really helped dial back the stress level. The vehicle itself (4Runner w/FSR Evolution RTT) had a decent amount of mileage on it but was in good working condition and very capable on rough roads. I had not mechanical issues whatsoever. The tent was comfortable and super-easy to open and collapse -- after the first time, I'd say it only took me 1-2 minutes. (Small tip: I'd recommend trying to open and collapse it once before leaving, just to make sure you have the hang of it -- watching Gaylord do it was helpful, but no substitute for hands-on experience.) The kitchen supplies were good, with only one or two minor items I found myself missing, but nothing really problematic. All in all, this was an A+ experience and one I'm hoping to repeat again soon! Thank you!!
