Prepare to be nickel and dimed. The only time I was given as a window to pickup the van was 6-8am. I rearranged my plans to make that pickup window work, just to be charged a late fee for dropping off at 11. I had mentioned at pickup that I wouldn’t be leaving my campsite early enough to make it before he went to work & even offered to take an Uber to drop off the keys to him. At drop off, I left the van parked. I even took the time to sweep and wipe down every surface. I also made sure to let him know about his dirty laundry that I found in the van. Instead of doing all that I should have rushed through drop off because I was charged by the second…
Outrageous that he’s charging $266.24 when the van just sat parked the rest of the day.
Save yourself the trouble and rent something else.

The listing is very clear. Despite this clarity, the renter took the van to a music festival. The pick up time was chosen by this renter, and an early pick up time was requested, so an early pick up window was provided. The renter was reminded about the late return fee at pick up. The renter then decided to return 4+ hours late.
