About John R Davis
We love travel. We live in Vancouver and enjoy taking trips to Seattle, to the beaches along the Oregon coast, and to small campgrounds. We previously had a motorhome, and while spacious, it was stressful to maneuver and we usually had to also drive a car so we could do short trips. Our Solis 59P is so fun to drive, but still lets us to all the campy things. We love that we can go from camping to go get coffee and back about as easily as with a car.

This RV is just right for what we needed for a family gathering at a lake. We slept comfortably, the fridge and cooler provided were plenty for a 4 day trip, and this RV drives great, more like a van than RV. The host is warm and flexible with pickup time, and went out of his way to help us retrieve a left-behind item. We would absolutely rent this RV again!

John was such a great host and his RV is amazing! It felt brand new and we had 0 issues. John was easily accessible and accommodating to make our trip as good as it could have been. The RV was smooth, easy to drive and it was easy to figure out how to convert the RV into sleeping mode. I would have loved to rent this RV for more than a week if we had the time.

Our family of four had a perfect little road trip to the Redwoods in this Solis van. We loved it! Our kids really enjoyed sleeping in the pop top, and the van really had everything we needed and plenty of storage if you get creative. So nice to have a bathroom and place to cook food and wash dishes while camping. This was our first time renting a camper van and we found it easy to drive and fill/empty the waste and water tanks.
