Our family decided to take a weekend trip to Leo Carrillo State Park just west of Malibu. This was our first time camping in a van and also our first time renting through Outdoorsy. Kris helped it all go smoothly and was very helpful from start to finish. The van was everything we could've wanted: easy driving, spacious, and provided a fun spot for all of the kids to hang out while the grownups chilled out by the fire.

Kristopher made it easy from the pick up to drop off of the van ! Always had a good communication, the van had everything we needed for our camping trip! The 2 beds were more than necessary ! The flexible policy is also a + ! If we go on a long trip again we will definitely rebook with Kristopher !

My family of four took a week long bike trip In the Sand Shark. Very comfortable sleeping for all of us. The van gets good gas mileage, was easy to drive and held all of our gear. I would definitely rent again. Kris the owner is easy to work with and very responsive if you have any questions.

The SANSHARK was the key to our most fun trip to CA yet..perfectly simple with just the right amount of amenities to camp while on the move.
We hung around the coast for a bit (mostly Encinitas - San Clem) surfing, hiking, exploring & seeing all our west coast friends. Stopped in LA to see a few more friends then cruised out to Joshua Tree to meet up with the rest of our crew from NJ, who came out to complete the epic trip…doin desert things & ripping motorcycles/dirtbikes.
Kris was really accommodating & replied with any questions/info quickly. 10/10 would recommend if you don’t need all the “RV” bells & whistles.

Kris is a true professional and the overall experience was amazing!!!The experience with Kris was actually quicker than renting with the camper van companies we’ve done in the past and although I try as much as possible to support small and locally owned businesses when and wherever I can (I own a small biz back home myself), it made me feel even better with this process. You’re not only supporting small and local but actually shaking the hand of the business owner and getting to chat about how and why he’s decided to do what’s he’s doing with his van.

We had such a great experience in Kris’ van. Camped through Joshua Tree National Park and the deserts of South Eastern California then at Carlsbad State Beach. We are a family of four and we were comfortably able to drive and sleep.
