About Robert Cannellos

In 2019, I realized I wanted to get off the "wheel" and experience total freedom, to explore and travel anywhere So...to accomplish that goal, and used my design and construction skills to build a high end off-grid van to experience this dream. I put together great team of my construction friends in Florida (master electrician, plumber and carpenter and an automotive expert to build the best van conversion we could imagine...and nothing was off the table! Since building this van I have built 4 others, and 2 school bus conversions, and I am constantly working with other clients designing new vans builds. Robert was great to work with. He was quick with replying even late at night. The rv was perfect, it was a selling point for us to have ac that worked off 12 volt. Only downside was lack of space in the drivers seat, im 6'6". It was a little tight for me but besides that we had a great time. And this was not Robert's fault, I'm just very tall compared to most. The rv was very clean, had a ton of stuff already in it like forks, chairs, etc. Deffinetly recommend to anyone looking to get away from hotel rooms and be able to get off the main roads.

This was our first trip in a campervan and we went down to the keys to spend a long weekend there! Robert was a great host who was very communicative and had his line available whenever needed. He was very flexible and genuine about us enjoying the trip.
The van made me a believer in customizing my own van to enjoy the beauty and journey of trips. His van was clean and had everything in order with no issues or messes. The AC, electricity, water, shower, toilet and driving were all very dependable. There is no complaints with this van and would 100% take it for another trip!

Awesome and well build van with everything you need. Would definitely rent again. Robert was really helpful, flexible and drove us to the airport after the trip was over.

Robert is wonderful! The fact that he built this van and had lived in it himself shows: from the power & water systems, the kitchen, the storage, the way the interior is set up for a crosswind or AC, and blackout windows for sleeping, every little detail was planned out carefully.

Wowza, what a trip!
This was our first time in a campervan, and our first time renting on outdoorsy. Luckily Robert was super helpful answering questions and accommodating all our requests!
Now about the campervan: It's awesome! everything works like it should, you can tell it's been built well with no expense spared. Drives like new, decent on gas, comfortable as can be! not once during our week use did we wish we had more room or anything not included in our van.
Safe to say we had a great experience and have recommended this van to our friends! Thank you Robert and Outdoorsy!
