And if you prefer to plan a road trip through BC's wine country and out to the Sunshine Coast - we can't think of a better way to do it!*Please remember - the Get-Away Van is by no means an off-road vehicle. Although very reliable, please do not take our van too far off the beaten path. It is NOT made for 4-wheeling into your favourite ATV camp, however, it is a great base camp for getting to those spots on your quads! Always make sure you have an easy way in AND out of your campsite when random camping on Crown Land. If you have reserved a campsite, even better! We've got all the hookups for power and water when using those paid sites as well.Other things to noteIf you are bringing your pets, please ensure they are doing their business outside of the van. Clean up after them as you would yourselves and we have no problems with you sharing these adventures with your furry family members!
No smoking! Please help us keep our van in top condition so that everyone can enjoy their adventure to the fullest.
If you use the toilet, you MUST empty and clean it!
No Off-Roading - Our van was made in 1988. Although things were constructed a bit differently then, we want to ensure its longevity. Please go easy on our old girl so that those who follow can enjoy their adventure just as you did.

We've had the best 2 weeks in this beautiful, comfortable and reliable retro camper. It was just amazing and absolutely perfect for my daughter and I. We travelled from Calgary down to Vancouver, up through Whistler and Kamloops and on to Jasper, then back down Icefields Parkway to Banff. So quite a trip for a slightly older campervan. But it didn't miss a beat.
Communication with owners was superb (they answered all my questions promptly) pick and drop off couldn't have been easier.
I would thoroughly recommend this camper if youre looking for an authentic and reliable road trip.

The van is the only way to experience the beauty of the Canadian Rockies without a doubt! The hosts Britney and Danny are as kind as can be and were extremely accommodating. The van has plenty of room for cooking sleeping and maybe a card game or 2. Also will fit in almost all the campgrounds in the area that allow a car or truck and will be much easier to park in the towns of Banff, jasper and anything in surrounding areas.
