Hi, I'm Rachel. I've been in Denver for close to 10 years now enjoying the mountains, sunshine, and fresh air as much as possible. On the weekends, you'll find me hiking, camping, skiing, road biking, or just hanging out in a park with my friends. I've always been drawn to travel and adventure. I've backpacked through Europe, lived and worked in Scotland, served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica, and taught English in Taiwan. Co-vid has definitely slowed me down a bit on the international travel, but I've been loving exploring the gorgeous landscape right here in my own back yard. I love the freedom of traveling in a van - that you can easily park in downtown Denver or also get to a beautiful campsite with a mountain overlook or stream nearby. I love the feeling of waking up with the sun and cooking outdoors, the pride of accomplishment and the the incredible views from the top of a mountain, relaxing in one of the many hot springs after a day in the mountains, or soaking up the sunshine and paddling around one of Colorado's many mountain lakes or alpine reservoirs. I'm happy to share some of my favorite camping spots and itineraries if you'd like some ideas for planning your Colorado adventure.

We had a great time! Dharma was exactly what we needed- sturdy & comfy! Rachel, the host, was quick to respond to any of our questions!

The rig was what we were looking for. The downside was that it's in need of some serious mechanical love and care. It had everything we needed and got us where we needed to go. Rachel was super flexible and easy to work with for picking up/dropping off and easy to communicate with.

Dharma is a great option for a weekend away. Very comfy bed. The ceiling fan really helps keep it cool. Comes with everything you need to set up a camp kitchen. Lots of space to bring gear and my dog's kennel. It does have AC for the drive! Big gas tank so didn't need to stop for gas until the trip home.

Dharma was perfect for our quick trip into the mountains. She’s is a slightly older van, so shes not perfect, but she’s very comfortable, practical, and reliable on the road. We had one small electrical issue shortly after pickup, and Rachel was super helpful and accommodating and got us back on the road in minutes. Dharma was a champ the rest of our trip. She took us hiking and rafting through the collegiate peaks area with no issues at all. We would definitely take Dharma on another adventure when we’re back in Colorado.

Rachel was very kind and accommodating. The van worked just fine for what we needed. There were a few issues with the lights, but that’s what to expect with an old van. Would recommend the van !
