Skip the drive to the slopes, drive and stay up in the hills for your ski trip for a fraction of the cost of a hotel or condo in the mountains! After years of searching for the most modular, well built and capable class B vehicles, we landed on the Antero Bamaga Adventure Van. After touring every rig out there we found that this small company makes a van that is a best kept secret. You will enjoy a spacious van that runs on solar and lithium batteries. It is a very comfortable and updated Mercedes chassis and driving is beyond luxurious. The vehicle runs on Diesel fuel. The van comes with a Colorado State Parks pass, so if you will be visiting one of the many beautiful Colorado State parks, you will not have to worry about the cost of that pass as well.It is equipped with a full-sized bed that folds down "murphy style" and is otherwise out of your way. The space underneath the bed is the perfect place for an air mattress, and is where a third person (or child) can sleep. Our little boy loves having his own sleeping space that even has its own underbed lights! The fridge is one of the largest out there and you have a large, deep stainless-steel sink to wash dishes with ease. Whether you use the induction cook top or the microwave, cooking is so easy in the rig. There is a table inside the van that doubles as one side of the Murphy bed.The van features the option for between 2-4 passengers. Depending on the number of people in your party, we will include the seats needed. If there are only two traveling, you don't have to lose unnecessary seat space. The entire van is very modular so the seats can come in and out and you can move them where you please. While we personally did not think a shower was a good use of space in the vehicle, we do have hot water and an outdoor shower hook up that can be used. The van has a convenient cassette toilet. The van also features a highly effective heating and cooling system, including a 12v a/c. The heat is fast to warm up and maintains a great temperature. We have had the van for a year, it has been the most incredible experience and we want to share that with other outdoor lovers like ourselves. This van is expensive and one of the nicer things we have Ever Owned, therefore we are just getting it out there for rentals. It is in immaculate condition and will be a pleasure for you to use.My husband, Trevor, and I are highly responsive, and well equipped to support you in any troubleshooting that you may need when you rent the vehicle. We will support you as it can feel like a lot to remember. Most of the utilities in the van are labeled and easy to locate. For winter rentals (November - April depending on temps), we will default to keeping the powered water system winterized. Please reach out, especially if it is November or April as this is highly weather and temperature dependent The guest will still have the use of the sink for washing dishes, and the gray water system will continue to work as well as the cassette toilet. However, the powered running water and water heater is the only element that would not be functional. If the guest would like to have the powered water system turned on, they will be charged an additional $150 to cover the cost of the process to dewinterize and then rewinterize the van and will need to agree to keep the van interior above 50 degrees Fahrenheit at all times. Most of the time in the winter the water system is unnecessary and if the van remains winterized for the trip we will include bottles drinking water and washing dishes/cleaning.What's includedEvery renter will have the use of a camping table, compostable flatware, paper plates, cookware. We will provide basic linens for the van such as bed sheets. The van does have a Nespresso machine for your coffee needs. Given the ability to use heating, we rarely use any type of sleeping bag. We will provide some firewood, and the use of our hatchet. Given that we are new to this, if there is something that you need us to provide to make your trip more comfortable let us know!During the winter we winterize the powered water system to take care of the van, and ensure the best possible experience for our renters and reduce the very high risk of damage that comes with attempting to maintain a dewinterized water system during Colorado's cold winters. This means we stock several gallons of drinking water to get you started, you still have use of the sink and grey tank, but the faucets are turned off to protect the water system in Colorado's cold winters. We are willing to de-winterize the system for a $150 added fee and with an awareness that the renter will be responsible for any damage done if the van is not kept above freezing during the duration of the rental. Let us know before you book and we will make that add on available for you after we have had a chance to chat about what a dewinterized powered water system entails. We also provide a service to folks using the van for races or events that require long distance running/cycling. For an additional fee we will stock the van with needs for crewing your races! We have a great system for ultra marathon stocking!RecommendationsThere are so many local areas to take the van. Because of the heat, you can easily take the rig skiing/snowboarding or simply have a winter camping week. (This can be our favorite thing to do). If you love skiing, Tiger Run Resort at Breckenridge allows RV and van camping for a nightly fee and is one of the best places to stay when going to Summit County for a ski vacation. The website is located here: https://www.tigerrunresort.com/vacation-rentals-homes.asp?cat=11317Although the rig is a 4wd vehicle, we have enjoyed spending time at campsites with our child and dog. The van fits in any regular sized parking space so it can be taken many places safely. Other things to noteWe will allow dogs in the van but we would like to know about them. We have comfortably slept in our rig with our golden retriever and our child. The van cannot be taken to any festivals, or off road. We also do not allow the van to be used for commercial trips or business use without explicit prior permission. If you plan to use the vehicle as part of your business, esp as an outdoor guide with paying clients or staff, we will probably say 'no'. If we say no and become aware you did this anyway, you will lose your deposit. While the vehicle is 4WD, it is for getting you out of unavoidable situations like a sudden snow storm, not to go 'off roading'. This vehicle had 4WD but is still a sprinter van and can never be taken on a road that is designated at 4WD or high clearance. The van can go on Forest Service Roads that are designated level 1, 2, or 3. Every National Forest has a map on their website that designates the status of various roads and how they are classified. If you are unsure, ask us, or call the forest service. Forest road level designations can be found here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprd3793545.pdfIf you do take the van off road and damage it, you will be responsible for the entire cost of repair.Additionally, if the road is marked as 'high clearance', "4-wheel drive', or 'ATV" or "Jeep" roads, it is not permissible. There are still a ton of boondocking and dirt road options within what is allowable. If you are looking for good ideas, we will be happy to share some ideas for you. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind in the van. We will approve every trip on a case by case basis including the trip that is being planned.

We cater to anyone who appreciates that ability to fully self-sustaining and go most places with ease. We love to support ultra-marathon runners and cyclists who could use an accessible vehicle to get their supplies! Trevor is a former ultra runner with 4 100 mile finishes and over 14 ultra marathon finishes. He is currently an avid cyclist and jiujitsu practitioner. Jenn has crewed nearly all of Trevor's races and both have put many miles on their shoes both pacing and crewing ultra athletes. We understand that every athlete has different needs during a race or run and needs crew, and a crew vehicle that will meet those needs. We aim to provide a crew vehicle that does just that and/or crew to do the work as well.

The entire experience with both Outdoorsy and our hosts was incredible. Their camper, Bammy was perfect for our needs. Total off the grid experience. Highly recommended! Thank you Trevor and Jennifer!

Easy and simple transaction with the exception of not being able to get an additional driver verified.
Our host was great! The pick up and drop off was very professional and straightforward.

Trevor and Jenn were very responsive to our request and questions, in addition to custom accommodations. They keep their camper van immaculate! Trevors prep video was very helpful to familiarize us with the van and features. We would most definitely rent from them again - great van and great owners.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We will spend a little time orienting you to the rig to make sure that you feel as comfortable as possible with it's features. It is a foot or so longer than an F250 pick up truck and fits tightly in a normal parking space.
Q.What is the clearance of the van?
A.
This van is a little bit over 10ft tall, so no drive throughs or parking structures will accommodate its height. However, it is shorter than the Revel because it has a more compact air conditioning unit on top.
Q.How many people does it sleep and how?
A.
The van has a murphy bed that sleeps up to two people comfortably. One of the owner is 6'1" and is works great. The additional sleeping capacity is achieved by sleeping under the murphy bed with an air mattress. This is most comfortable for children and our little boy loves having his own 'fort' to sleep in at night. It also has its own underbed lights.
Q.How quickly do you approve requests to rent?
A.
We try to get to all requests within a few hours. Don't let our lack of instant book deter you. We want to make sure that we are a good fit for your needs before committing.
