The Baby Beluga is a 2005 Dodge Sprinter van. She is a modern and minimal retreat vehicle, perfect for :
- overnights on the coast (that perfect ocean view)

...whatever else your heart can imagine! What's included2x camping chairs, camping table, linens (pillows, comforter, sheets, towels) cookware, utensils, kettle, pour over coffee setup (with some of our fave local coffee), candlesRecommendationsOur favorite drive is the PNW coast, from SF/Oakland up to Portland and back. There are peaceful and private lagoons, unreal sunsets, hot springs, adorable beachside towns, you name it! Just let us know if you want any recommendations: we love anything from a quick overnight getaway to a couple weeks on the road with our two pups!Other things to notePets welcome, but please clean up after them!No festivals
No smoking
No tailgatingDiesel ONLY!Should you need to fill the water tank: it is lightweight and is easily unhooked from the water pump for direct transport to/from any water hookup spot.Should you need to empty the grey water tank, it is also lightweight and is easily unhooked from the sink for transport to/from any grey water transport station. There are NO electrical hookups. The battery bank is charged by driving and by solar panels. We have never had any issues with this: if you are concerned about your battery usage, there is an easily accessible panel that will show you the percentage of battery available. The stove hooks up to 16 oz camping gas canisters. One canister lasts us for ~ 1 week of light cooking. These must be disconnected and stored while driving. Please also note that, while we do our absolute best to respond to questions, both Cameron and I have full time jobs and lead busy lives, and cannot always accommodate special requests. Please be patient around communication, and know that we will get back to you as soon as we can!

Had the best time! Van worked perfectly for what we needed on our trip to Mammoth and Yosemite. Will 100% consider the baby beluga for future adventures! Thank you :)

The trip was amazing. I LOVED the van and the whole experience from booking to return was easy. The owners are great.

We had an amazing experience with this camper van! It was perfect for our trip to explore Yosemite and Sequoia. The bed was super comfortable, and the kitchen setup had everything we needed. The door locks were a bit tricky at first, but once we figured them out, it was smooth sailing.
Cameron was fantastic in walking us through all the details when we picked up the van, making us feel confident for our first camper van adventure. Overall, it was a great choice for our first time, and we'd highly recommend it!

Baby Beluga treated us well and Cameron was very easy to work with. There are some finicky quirks about the van but nothing that hindered us on our trip to Carmel.

We had a great time using this van to explore Yosemite, sequoia, and kings canyon! Bed was very comfortable. Amenities are nice. Storage space is limited, if you want to keep things close at reach. Fridge kept items cold but was hard to get in and out of under the sink. Other than preferential things, the van met all our needs! Stove worked great. We got great gas mileage. Would consider again for future trips.

Q.I'm a beginner! Can I take this van out by myself??
A.
Everything in this van is designed to be extremely light weight and operable by just one person. Beginner campers have no problems using this system, since everything is so self explanatory. If you have any questions or want a walk through of the van before taking it out, please just let us know! We'd be happy to share all our knowledge with you to help you feel safe on your journey.
Q.When should I refill the water tank?
A.
The water tank will probably last you ~2 days of heavy water use (2 ppl and 2 dogs, drinking water, coffee, cooking). We recommend that you keep an eye on your consumption after this point and fill up the tank during the day. If the water tank is empty, the water pump will run continuously. You would have to turn off the electrical system (with the push of a button) until you can refill the water tank. This is not fun to do at night, so take our word for it and just do it early ;)
Q.You really sleep two people AND two mid sized dogs in that thing?
A.
Yep. The bed is a king. One dog sleeps under the bed, and the other sleeps in the main cabin.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The Baby Beluga is a super easy driver. She's been taken out by beginner adventurers on solo trips, with few (if any) difficulties. Some tips: Sometimes it can be difficult for new RV drivers to get used to not having a rear view mirror or backup camera. Don't worry, the side view mirrors give you all the sight you need. Turn off the fan and lower the lid when it is not in use. If you're going somewhere cold, let the engine warm up before driving.
