Comet is a 2020 Ford Transit converted camper van, ready to accompany you on your upcoming journeys.Inside, you'll find a warm cabin-like wood paneled interior with a real queen sized mattress (long enough for tall folks) and enough space to sleep two adults comfortably. Inside, there is a mini-fridge with freezer and microwave. There is ample cubby storage to pack your essentials, keeping your belongings organized and within reach. With solar panels on the roof, you can stay powered up during your travels. (And connected, where wifi or service is available.)This is a dry camper without a sink, but there is a large water tank with drinkable freshwater that lasts at least a week, with extra water in the under-storage.Whether you're seeking picturesque coastlines or exploring serene mountains, Comet is a reliable travel companion to bring your travel plans to life.What's includedWe include fresh linens, two fluffy pillows and a Pendleton wool blanket to stay warm on cool northwest mornings. The under-bed storage holds a standard two burner camp stove, table, chairs, very basic cookware and dish ware, a simple outdoor gravity shower and extra water. We include a USB-C charger cable for while you're driving. Connect by Bluetooth to play music with great sound.There are charger ports in the dashboard. Also, the van is solar powered and will be on, so there are power strips you can use.As a reminder, this van is 2 wheel drive so it does well on paved roads and gravel, but isn't good for dirt roads or mountain roads with potholes. Please plan to avoid these roads completely.There is a french press coffee maker included, and you can heat water on the stove or in the microwave.You'll receive the van with a full gas tank and ask that you plan to fill the tank before you return with regular unleaded.Cleanup is simple, please empty the fridge, your trash cans and leave the van tidy. You can leave the sheets, we'll strip them.RecommendationsWander endlessly in the Pacific Northwest! Within a two-hour drive, you can explore and camp at Mt Hood, the Columbia River Gorge or at the Oregon Coast.Venture farther North into Washington State to spend time on the Olympic Peninsula, hiking in Mt Rainier National Park or the North Cascades.Going South, make your way to climb and cycle at Bend, Oregon or hike at Crater Lake National Park.Head East to see the Wallowas or make your way to Boise!And if you have a few weeks, take Comet even farther to Glacier, Yellowstone or Yosemite. :)Other things to noteNo pets for now

Renting Leah’s camper van for my road trip adventure was a really great experience! Leah was flexible with my pickup a drop-off time, and walked me through the in’s & out’s of the van so I could have a smooth trip. The van itself was perfect— it had all the things I needed and more. The van drove great, no issues whatsoever. Having the refrigerator and microwave was highly convenient. I was doing a lot of photography on my trip, so having the solar panels and power strips to keep my devices charged was highly convenient. Having the privacy curtains both in the back and front of the van was also really nice to have. Overall, I highly recommend renting from Leah, I definitely would again!
