IndiVana is a custom Mercedes-Benz sprinter van that is living its second life as an adventurer after spending the first half of its life as an ambulance. Indi fueled (with Diesel) our 2020 adventure in lieu of our would have been wedding in March 2020. The van was custom built in Boise Idaho, converting a retired ambulance into an adventure van with all the details to make you feel like you’re living in a beautiful wood cabin. Indi boasts a refrigerator, dinette, full size bed, gas stove, rooftop solar shower, large awning, solar power, lots of plugs for all your gadgets, an iPad holder for a movie in bed on a rainy evening, a pop up tent / bathroom, and rooftop seats for star gazing / unobstructed drive in movie watching. Indi is packed full of high end components making your experience even more comfortable - an interior heater for cold nights and remote control ceiling fan for warm ones. We can also provide an inflatable kayak upon request.Indi has been coast to coast and brought us months of joy in a challenging time. The van comes outfitted with everything you’d need for a few days to a few months of off-grid living. You can plug in to any standard plug at any camp site with power, or you can get into the back country in BLM land and let the solar panels do their job providing you with power for days. Does the old emergency horn from the ambulance days still work… maybe… you’ll have to find out! What's includedFresh linens, camping chairs, camping table, full water tanks, paper towels, toilet paper, wag bags for toilet, pots and pans, basic spices, all utensils needed to cook and eat, RecommendationsThe options are nearly endless from seattle! Only have a short timeline, hit any one the three local national parks - Rainier, North Cascades, Olympic. Got more time? The WA or OR coasts are just a few hours away. Mt. St Helen’s, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Hood are just a few hours away. Idaho is only 5-8 hours away for amazing remote boondocking. Glacier National Park is 10 hours away. Drive down the coast to California and back. Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies are just 2-6 hours away. Endless state parks and open wilderness are at your fingertips in all directions - you can’t go wrong!Other things to noteSorry, no pets and no smoking.

In 2020 we had our wedding planned for March 28, 2020. The world shut down two weeks before our wedding date and we were forced to make a new plan. We live in seattle and our families were on the east coast. We had complicated health concerns with our families so even a small family gathering was out of the question. We opted to use some of the would be wedding fund to purchase a camper van, elope in Olympic National Park with 12 friends, then drive across the country to see our families. IndiVana came to us ready to go, but we added a few of our own personal touches along the way. What we expected to be a 4-6 week trip turned into 5 months of travel, 7 national parks, 3 national monuments, 4 state parks, and countless boondocking sites, impromptu camp grounds, easy and delicious one pan meals, and the perfect wedding / honeymoon pandemic adventure.

Daniel was super easy to communicate with and set us up for an amazing trip in IndiVana! This was out first time taking a van trip and Daniel explained everything that we needed to know. IndiVana was well kept and equipped for staying at campsites with or without hookups. We enjoyed multiple cooked meals with IndiVana's kitchen, enjoyed stargazing on the rooftop, and watched the sunset each evening in the provided camp chairs. The van drove smoothly, looks awesome, and was the perfect size for maneuvering, whether it be in town or into the perfect campsite. We highly recommend IndiVana to anyone interested and have already sent the listing to some friends!

Indivana was fabulous! She was just perfect for my solo adventure to the Washington state national parks! She had everything I needed and made the trip so easy and smooth. I loved that I could hike till late in the day if I wanted and then pull over on my way back to the campground and make dinner on the side of the road while watching the sun come down. Then it was back on the road and an easy set up to sleep as soon as I pulled into the campground! I would rent her again in a heartbeat! I love the character she has too, being a retired ambulance and the rustic interior. And she can go on the rough and tough roads too! Her tires dig in and the four wheel drive keeps you climbing!
What an amazing two weeks, in an amazing campervan!!

The entire experience was very easy to navigate. The van drove wonderfully and met our expectations. Everything in the van was well maintained and my husband loved that it was diesel due the type of driving that we were doing. The host was very responsive!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Fairly flexible pickup and drop off, as long as you communicate.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Mostly you shouldn’t need to plug in as the solar panels should do the job of keeping the batteries charged. If you are parked in the shade or it’s particularly cloudy for an extended period of time, you can easily plug in the van using the adapter and extension cord found in the drivers seat door pocket.
