Hello,
We are Devin and Robin, the owners of this fabulous RV, and our goal is to help provide you with a luxury hit-the-road camping experience.
We include many items (listed below) to get you on the road to a fun RV adventure quickly. We also include 100 free miles per booked night.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or special requests.* The Solis 59PX is an excellent Class B RV that is perfect for a 2-4 campers. It sleeps four and seats four comfortably.
* The Solis is a year-round RV with its rooftop AC that can be run from the onboard generator in summer, and Truma heating system for cold-weather campers.
* At 21' long the Solis is easy to drive and fits it most standard parking spaces. It includes touchscreen infotainment center with navigation, cruise control, and backup camera.
* The electric system includes a built-in Cummins Ownan QG 2800i gasoline powered generator that can power the entire coach when on, including the AC. The solar-powered battery system powers the fridge, lights, and USB outlets even when the generator is off. This allows for off-grid camping :)
* 2 burner propane cooktop, 12v fridge/freezer, sink with hot water.
* Bathroom has a cassette toilet, shower & sink with hot water.
* Rear queen sized Murphy bed, and a fun pop-top full sized bed with side windows

* Route 1 HighwayOther things to noteThis vehicle is not allowed to enter Canada or Mexico. It will be reported as stolen if you cross the border into these countries. Due to “smash & grab” this vehicle is NOT allowed in San Francisco other than to cross the Golden Gate bridge to drive South to central or southern Cal. Again, it will be reported as stolen if parked anywhere in SF. If this violation occurs, the renter will be responsible for any and all fees incurred due to the vehicle being reported as stolen. Renter will also forfeit their security deposit as well as be responsible for paying the full rental price as agreed to in the contract.

We want you to be fully informed "up front" and have no unrealistic expectations about our RV rental. Most owners have these same rules but don't always post them up front. We strive for 100% transparency to prevent any misunderstandings once your rental period begins.* No refunds for late starts or early returns: if you start late or return early, we do not refund for the days/times you will not use the RV. No exceptions to this rule as the dates have already be reserved for your rental.
* Fees for late returns: $1 per minute unless agreed upon in writing. You are also responsible for the full cost of any canceled rentals we incur due to a late return of our RV.
*. Pick up and return: Pick-ups 3 PM unless otherwise agreed to in advance in writing. Returns by 11 AM unless otherwise agreed to in advance in writing.
*. All drivers MUST be at least 25 years old and must be listed on the contract. Only contracted drivers are allowed to drive the unit. NO EXCEPTIONS
*. Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING of any kind in our RV. If we detect any type of tobacco/vape/smoke odor you forfeit your entire security deposit.
*. Cooking odors: Oil frying food is STRICTLY prohibited, as is cooking any food that leaves behind a strong odor such as fish, liver, heavy spices, bacon. All frying must be done outside the vehicle. Any food that causes a strong odor is not permitted in the vehicle and must be cooked outside. If you violate this rule you forfeit your full security deposit.
*. Travel Restrictions: This vehicle is not allowed to travel into Mexico or Canada, and will cause the until to be reported as stolen, and a total forfeit of your security deposit.
*. Toll Roads, red light cameras, parking tickets, etc: Parking tickets, mailed violations, including toll violations are a MAJOR burden. We will charge you the cost of the fees plus a $150 admin fee if a violation occurs under your rental period. If we have to pursue the cost through the courts, we will charge the maximum allowed by law, plus the cost of the court and late fees.
*. Furnishings: Renter acknowledges the RV is provided fully furnished and will be charged the full replacement cost of any missing/damaged items including any add-ons you rent from us.
*. Furniture & upholstery: Please protect furniture and upholstery from activities that cause stains, damage and soiling. Do NOT stand on the rear passenger seats or table to access the loft bed. A loft ladder is included. If additional cleaning (or repairs) is required to recover the cleanliness of the unit and upholstery to a clean & neutral state, renter is responsible for these cleaning fees, which will be assessed and taken from your security deposit.
*. Food debris: Please do to allow food debris to be placed in sink drains!! RV sink drainage cannot accommodate food debris and particles. The renter will be responsible for any damage to drains or storage tanks.
*. Safe Speeds: Please drive the vehicle at safe speeds not exceeding 65 mph, keeping a safe distance between vehicles as RV's are heavy and will not stop as quickly as a car. Hard-breaking causes significant wear & tear on the breaking system. The renter is responsible for damages to the breaking system and/or tires that result from hard-breaking. Our unit is equipped with a speed alert monitor set at 70 mph. DO NOT exceed 65 mph.
Your safety is our #1 priority.
*. Return condition: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when you received it. Renter is responsible for cleaning the interior upon return. We will wash the exterior. If unit is not properly cleaned upon return or requires additional cleaning, you will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.
*. Gray tank must be completely empty upon return, if not you will be charged $150.
*. Cassette toilet must be emptied, cleaned and sanitized upon return. If not, you will be charged $150.
*. You will receive a full tank of gas. Vehicle must be retuned with a full tank of gas. If not, you will be charged $150.
*. No towing allowed unless pre-approved in writing.
*. No major off-roading: Jeep trails and off-roading is strictly prohibited. This is a camper van, not an off-road vehicle. The vehicle may be operated only on official roads open to motor vehicle travel as designated by the Federal, State, Local Government, National Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. The renter agrees to operated the vehicle only in a safe, non-abusive, and lawful manner. Violation of this agreement will forfeit your entire security deposit. Watch for branches, rocks or anything that may damage the vehicle. You are 100% responsible for any and all damages regardless of the situation or person at fault.
*. All passengers MUST be seated with seatbelts fastened during travel. It is a violation of Federal and State law to move about the cabin while vehicle is moving.
