2019 RAM ProMaster 2500
We completed converting the van (Chewy) in 2023 after 4 years of on/off renovations. Pete was the engineer and builder, and Erin was the designer. Several YouTube tutorials later and we were living in the van full-time. We've stayed at many kinds of places including rest areas, campgrounds, RV parks, BLM land, cracker barrels, walmarts, and any other spot we could find on iOverlander. We lived on the road for 6-months in Chewy with all the amenities we could possibly need: a shower (hot water), a compost toilet, oven, gas stove, fridge, freezer, sink, A/C, heat, a WFH desk, window covers, a queen bed, an Abundance of interior storage, as well as what we call our "garage" storage, which was enough space to store two bikes, a set of skis, a guitar, all of our climbing/hiking gear. All cabinets have gas struts for easy access to your belongings. There are pull-out drawers with jars with some basic foods (rice, pasta, coffee). Some of the more technical specifications of Chewy include: upgraded suspension (front and back), electrical hookup, a 30-gallon water tank, solar panels, 10-gallon shower grey water tank, 5-gallon sink grey water tank, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, total 300 Ah batteries, 30 Amp alternator charger (aka the engine will charge the batteries), dimmable lights, heated water lines, and several 120v outlets. All in all, Chewy has everything you might need whether it be for a short weekend getaway, or a longer road trip. Also, Chewy is perfect for all 4 seasons!ChewyWhat's includedBath towels (2), Beach towels (2), camping chairs (2), kitchen towels (2), freshly washed sheets, blanket, pillows (4), hand-crank coffee grinder, coffee grounds, coffee filters, pour over coffee maker, bowls (4), plates (4), cutlery, cooking utensils, mugs (4), pizza tray, glass baking dish, pots, pans, collapsible strainer, measuring spoons, can opener, corkscrew, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first-aid kit, fire extinguishers.RecommendationsHere are some places for outdoor adventures! Pete & Erin were thoughtful with all the steps of our renting process. They made sure we knew everything about the van before leaving (even making sure we were comfortable driving it) and they even had a nice and easy-to-follow, step-by-step manual about every aspect of the van. The van was great and super well-equipped, and we now have great memories of our adventure with it.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Tuesday-Friday the pick-up time is 6:00am and drop off is between 6:30-7:30 pm; This is negotiable on a case-by-case basis. There is more flexibility on weekends and Monday, but prefer pickup by 10am and drop off by 4pm.
