2002 Winnebago Minnie
If you pick me for your family travels, (Or couple's retreat) you'll be glad you did!
The Winnebago name has always been synonymous with quality and the earlier models like this were much more expensive to build.
That translates into a more quiet, solid ride, carpeted ceiling, more insulation... this is one of my all time favorite RV's and we've owned a lot of them. You may never spend more to rent a newer model again.
At 30 feet long, it takes the "short class C" platform and adds a larger shower just like home and a private restroom across the hall. Two people can get ready at the same time. It's even got a little lit up makeup nook in the master bedroom. But it's not too long that it can't get in and out of smaller campgrounds or is intimidating to drive. This is a real sweetheart that's ready for a coast to coast trip. It's roomy for travelers and has generous storage for all your gear. Features an on-board Generator, new smart tv, microwave, oven, propane stove, 2 way refrigerator and freezer that is fully functional while you drive, hot water heater, fresh water tank, and enough fresh and waste storage to make it comfortably between stops.
The master sleeps two, the pull out couch sleeps two, the dinette sleeps two kids or one (smaller) adult, and the slide out in front of the TV sleeps an adult. Respectful trained pets are welcome, please no smoking. What's includedWe keep our basics stocked in the Rv for you like pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, plates, cups, a coffee maker, coffee cups, a toaster, and some cleaning supplies. Please bring your own towels, bedding, pillows and toiletries.
We will leave you enough paper towels, TP, napkins and plastic silverware to get you started.
RecommendationsBeing in OH, we love I70, 71, and 75. Sandusky and the islands are amazing in Summer, this RV is “ferry friendly” to and from the islands. In winter we sneak south a few times to Florida. We like these main highways because there is always an easy place to stay last minute wherever you decide to call it a night. This RV will be our choice if we can make it to Mount Rushmore this year!Other things to noteThis is our home away from home and as such we insist on a no smoking policy. Some dogs are permitted... upon approval by Charlie, our Bernedoodle ;)
Prior RV experience preferred but this is a very simple to operate motorhome. There's nothing we can't walk you through over the phone... if you have questions we got you, and we've seen it all. Rest assured if your goal is to relax and have a good time, you will!

Everything was perfect! Bryan was a Great Host! No issues with anything. Bryan even had new tires put in the camper knowing we were traveling out West. Thank you!

We had a great first family vacation with Winnie on Wheels! The RV was super clean, well stocked with basics, and the host, Brian, was incredibly helpful and thorough upon pick up, and while we didn’t need assistance on the road it was great to know that he was available if we needed help! Overall a great experience!

This trip was one to write home about! The process of securing the RV was smooth and stress free. We drove halfway across the country to Arkansas to visit friends and family with ZERO issues! This RV would be ready to handle anything you threw at it. You can definitely tell Bryan and his family take great care of their things. They made sure everything was safe and ready for us when it was time to pick it up. We would 100% recommend using them for any travel needs they have available and will be using again in the future.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are flexible. Please contact us a few days to a week ahead of your travels to work out the details. We are happy to do what we can to accommodate your schedule.
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes, and since we own this RV, we have traveled in it ourselves. We have used every button, switch and hose. As such, we are happy to spend adequate time at handoff to show you the amenities and any short cuts we've learned over the years. In addition, we are available 24/7 for any questions or trouble shooting. I run an RV repair facility and can help with any situation imaginable.
