(We do not make a commission - we just want to share the great things available in "The 757") see 757RVS.com for more informationRecommendationsA native to "The 757" I highly recommend visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia on at least one of your trips! It's beautiful and there's a lot of culture along with the nature, right in Cape Charles. We just camped for one night at North Landing - and it was wonderful! We backed-into a site just in front of our own personal deck overlooking the canal. They had activities and great things to do. (worth it... even for just one night!)Williamsburg is one of my favorite destinations. Busch Gardens is so much fun to visit and there is so much history too. I'd definately try to spend some time with kids in this historical area while they are young. Remember - go to the bakery, buy the cookies and get the recipie!!!Virginia Beach itself is a great place to stay. If you plan to stay a day, a week or a month, there is always so much to do! The Great Dismal Swamp , the Virginia Aquarium and even fantastic art museums and the boardwalk are all close to state parks (Kiptopeke, First Landing and more) as well as KOA and Holiday Travel Parks.Every month has something special in our area! Think about a very special Fall trip, Thanksgiving dinner around the campfire or Christmas under-the-stars. There's always something wonderful happening in "The 757" or nearby!Other things to notePlease leave 45 mins to an hour for walkthrough when you pick up "Bettie" as well as when you drop-off. We'll also have a video or two available to help.IF YOU ARE A NOVICE and staying locally, we'll help guide you through set up at camp. (no charge) - we REALLY want you to be happy and confident but understand if you'd like some help, your first time!If you are intermediate or pro, even if you don't need help, we're just a phone call away with any questions you may have. We provide an electronic leveler and blocks for leveling and suggest parking on a somewhat level surface, with hookups if possible.Smoking is NOT permitted whatsoever in the RV. (No cigarettes, weed or vaping)We're doing our best to provide a clean and allergen-free experience for families.Any smoking must be done outside the RV, away from open doors, windows or wind that would "carry" the smoke into the vehicle.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We truly want you to have a wonderful experience and to ensure Bettie is ready for the next guest - please be advised, we expect you to:Empty tanks before returning Bettie!
- If you cannot do so, you agree to a deduction from your deposit of $100

I'm Lori Dunn and I had to retire from my career as a flight attedant after almost 25 years. My husband, Dave, is USN retired. Betwen us we have 8 grandchildren and wanted to have a great experience both travelling and camping with all of them. Even though we're both technically "retired" we remain busy both volunteering and working in creative ways in our local community.

The experience renting from Ms. Lori was wonderful, start to finish. We were a group of Naval Officers traveling to DC for the Marine Corps Marathon and wanted to do something other than stay in a hotel. Ms. Lori has done a great job ensuring her renters are taken care of down to the most minute detail. Thanks again Ms. Lori.
Loretta’s answer
THANK YOU! Thank you for bringing her back clean. Definitely a great experience on this end, too!

Lori was an amazing host. She wanted to make sure everything was clean and ready to go. She had flexible pick up/drop off times. Lots of amenities on board. Plenty of room. She is serious about her water! It's good. She said she was always available for a call or text. I found that to be true. It is easy to drive for a 32ft vehicle. Couldn't ask for a better trip! Thanks Lori!

The owner was fantastic as well very quick response and very helpful. After renting many campers this was by far the best. Thank you for letting us use betty

Loretta was amazing! So kind and helpful. A gem of a human! Betty was exactly what we needed for our family of 5. Everyone slept so comfortably. While we spent most of our time outdoors, she was a great RV for our family's first camping experience! Will absolutely rent Betty again.
Loretta’s answer
Thank you so much Courtney! We loved having you as guests. You are amazing!
Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Just ask.
We'll be happy to provide concierge service (dropping off and picking up) directly to and from the campsite. (Still need to walk through with you to go over everything)
If you are celebrating something - please let us know. "Bettie" can help with birthday's, anniversaries, family reunions girls' get-a-way weekends and so much more.
If you'd like anything from flowers to a fruit basket, even a birthday cake - just please let us know. (we'll help for an appropriate fee)
: )
Q.What type of car/truck do you need to tow this trailer? What are the hitch requirements?
A.
You can drive "Bettie".
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Ideally, we'll walk you through everything when you pick up Bettie.
Additionally, we've created a walk-through guide with additional information, helpful hints and references to the electronic Coachmen Freelander manual which is linked in the presentation.
We call it "Bettie's Overkill-Overview".
Overkill - because many people, especially experience RV'ers may already know a lot. We've added it anyway so that everyone, no matter how experienced they are, can enjoy SAFETY and comfort!
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This is explained in the "Bettie - Overkill/Overview" Presentation - with pictures and a link to the manual too.
